Installing RFtp PRO ====================== It's as easy as clicking the "Install" button! In fact, the entire installation process only involves 3 mouse clicks (or Enter key presses)! Just run the self-extracting archive (wherever you put it), click "Extract Files", and it will pull out the RFtp PRO Installer and start it. Then you just click on "Install", followed by "Finish", and you're done (assuming you accepted the defaults). Note that "overinstalls" are "safe". This means that any menu entries, shortcuts, and uninstall data maintained by RFtp PRO will be updated as required to reflect the NEW install location (and OLD menu entries etc. will be updated/removed). If what you are really trying to do is MOVE RFtp PRO, you should "Uninstall" it first... otherwise, any files left in the original location will be "orphaned" (no uninstall info will refer to them). 3. Uninstalling RFtp PRO ======================== Choices, choices, choices... use the Control Panel "Add/Remove Programs" applet, the "Uninstall" entry in the RFtp PRO Programs menu, or the "Quit and Uninstall RFtp PRO" button on the Options page of the app. Whichever one you choose, the RFtp PRO Uninstaller will start, verify your intentions, and remove some or all of RFtp PRO's traces from your system! Note that the default is to PRESERVE the program's Registry (sites and settings) information - this makes it easy to move RFtp PRO or reinstall at a later time. If you really want to remove EVERYTHING, then just say so, and it's gone...
